How Word to Markdown Works

Copy formatted content from Microsoft Word or Google Docs and paste it directly into this tool. It reads the clipboard HTML, detects Word-specific heading styles and list formatting, strips out proprietary markup, and produces clean markdown with proper headings, bold, italic, and lists preserved.
